A south Louisianian passionate about agrobiodiversity, climate adaptability, and biocultural preservation through growing ecologically on my farm, Bumble Prairie Growing. I am grateful to have been accepted to OSA Seed Production Course for 2021 and am an amateur seed grower and dipping my toes in trialing and plant breeding.
As a native of the Deep South, I hold a particular hope for preserving the unique biocultural diversity of south Louisiana and its varied and periled cultural and ecological landscapes.
I am most interested in seed production, plant breeding, climate adaptability, whole-system farming, food security through food sovereignty, and am always happy to connect with others.
