Footnote Farm is a small family farm growing fresh produce primarily for members of our CSA. We are deeply invested in sustainable local food systems–particularly in helping families cultivate meaningful connections to local farmers and strengthening Southeastern regional seed growing and breeding. Sandi grew food for her own family for over a decade before starting the farm in 2019 in order to provide good food for more families, grow Southern-adapted seed, and trial vegetable and fruit varieties that can sustain us in the face of a rapidly changing environment. We are a human-scale, no-till farm and grow using organic practices. My most recent seed projects have been selections of Tabitha Dykes collards for purple color, All Cream lettuce, and Old Homestead garlic.
